Wagner, Gentile, York join Valley Bank of Nevada’s Henderson team

Valley Bank of Nevada’s Henderson location to serve Henderson as a business loan center with plans to open as a full-service branch by mid-2016

John GentileHENDERSON, Nev. – Valley Bank of Nevada has named Stephen D. Wagner as senior vice president/commercial loan officer; John Gentile as vice president/commercial lending officer; and Ron H. York as senior vice president/retail banking manager of its Henderson location, 4343 E. Sunset Road.  CEO, James R. York and CCO, Jay Blood also have offices in the new Henderson location.

For the first year, Valley Bank of Nevada’s Henderson location will serve the Henderson community as a business loan center with plans to open as a full-service branch by mid-2016.

In the industry for the past 18 years, Wagner will handle: loan production via conventional, SBA and alternative financing; SAG origination and liquidation; OREO portfolio management; and lending oversight of Ronald H. Yorkthe Nevada Collateral Support Program (Governor Sandoval’s economic development initiative program). Wagner holds a bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in finance from Delaware Valley University.

A professional with 20 years of experience the industry, Gentile will handle for the bank: credit underwriting, loan production via conventional, SBA and alternative financing; SAG origination and liquidation; OREO portfolio management; and lending oversight of the Nevada Collateral Support Program (Governor Sandoval’s economic development initiative program). Gentile graduated from UNLV with a bachelor’s degree in managerial finance.

Steve WagnerRon York brings more than 40 years of Las Vegas banking experience to the new loan production office. He has been with Valley Bank of Nevada from the beginning. For Valley Bank’s new Henderson location, he will handle business banking services and private banking.
