Rich Manley, owner of TechVanta, to lead Henderson Chamber workshop March 6

Rich ManleyHENDERSON, Nev. – Rich Manley, technical services manager and owner of TechVanta Business IT, will present “Be an Email Rock Star with Microsoft Outlook – a Hands-On Workshop” during the Roadmap to Success workshop series from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 6, at the Henderson Business Resource Center, 112 S. Water St., near West Pacific Avenue in downtown Henderson.

During the workshop, Manley will provide tips and tricks to be more efficient in Outlook; discuss how to be safe by identifying phishing and scam emails; and teach how to use folders, rules, signatures, views and best practices.

During more than two decades of experience in the IT world, Manley has seen technology become the central nervous system of any sized business. Before opening TechVanta in 2009, Manley served as the IT manager at Lake Las Vegas Resort and the senior sales and system engineer at Intuit IT Solutions. He established TechVanta to help companies of all sizes reap the benefits of having an IT professional “on staff.” In 2006, Manley joined the Henderson Community Foundation’s technology committee and became a member of the foundation’s board of trustees in 2010. He also is an active member of the Friends of Henderson Hospice and Adult Daycare and a 2008 graduate from the Henderson Chamber’s Leadership Henderson.

The event is open to the public, including Henderson Chamber of Commerce members and non-members. The event is free for Henderson Chamber members, $25 for non-members. The Roadmap to Success Workshop Series covers all aspects of business critical for business owners to understand and properly execute to stay afloat, especially when times are tough. The series began in September and continues through May. It is comprised of 16 workshops covering topics including finance, human resources, law, marketing, and operations, sales and technology.

The workshop series is sponsored by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, the city of Henderson, Cox Communications and Prism Global Management Group LLC.

The Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation is a non-profit corporation organized to manage and distribute funds and resources to further the development of the community through activities that are exclusively charitable, scientific, or educational.
