Annual event to raise funds for Leadership Henderson, Living Grace Homes
HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber Foundation and Leadership Henderson will host the fourth annual Biddin’ for Bottles fundraising and wine tasting event from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Grape Expectations, 7360 Eastgate Road, Suite 125, in Henderson.
Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on bottles of wine and win silent auction gift baskets. There will be wine, food and entertainment. Last year, more than 200 residents attended and raised more than $10,000 for Leadership Henderson and the Shane Victorino Foundation, which is dedicated to promoting opportunities for underserved youth.
This year, the event will raise funds to support Leadership Henderson and Living Grace Homes, a local nonprofit organization that provides a safe haven for pregnant teens who need food, shelter, education and a safe place to bring home their newborns.
Event organizers are currently accepting in-kind donations for gift baskets and bottles of wine. There are sponsorship opportunities available as well.
“This is the best kind of event because it’s fun and it brings the community together to support worthy causes,” said Rebecca Fay, Henderson Chamber Foundation director.
Leadership Henderson is governed by the Henderson Chamber Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. The program strives to make better leaders and a stronger community.
