Tina Quigley, RTC general manager, to serve as guest speaker Aug. 12
HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will present Tina Quigley, general manager of the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC), as the guest speaker during a network breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug 12.
The event will take place at Sunset Station’s Sunset Room, 1301 W. Sunset Road, in Henderson. During the breakfast, Quigley will present “Fuel Revenue Indexing – Investing in Our Community, One Gallon at a Time.”
As Southern Nevada continues to recover from the recession, Quigley will discuss how Fuel Revenue Indexing and how the community initiative helps to make a long-term investment in the community by generating $700 million to support 185 transportation projects and create approximately 9,000 jobs.
As the general manager of the RTC, Quigley shares a passion and vision for Southern Nevada through her oversight of roadway planning and funding, freeway and traffic management and public transportation. Under her leadership the RTC is working to enhance transportation infrastructure and improve workforce mobility and transit accessibility, which will help diversity the economy and attract new businesses to Southern Nevada.
