Breakfasts, mixers give locals the means to mingle, network

HENDERSON, Nev.The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will host two network breakfasts and a mixer in May and June to help business-minded locals connect with their community.

At 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, Brett Gordon and Steve Hawks of The Gordon Group – also the event’s sponsor – will speak at the chamber’s May network breakfast.

At 7 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, Judy McFadden, author of “Life with McDuff,” will speak at the chamber’s June network breakfast sponsored by ServPro of Henderson and Boulder City.

Both events will be held at the Wildhorse Golf Club, 2100 W. Warm Springs Road, between Valle Verde Drive and Green Valley Parkway in Henderson. Cost is $20 per event for members, $30 per event for non-members. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 702-565-8951. All reservations are due the day prior to the event.

The Henderson Chamber’s next mixer will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at the headquarters of the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth – located at 4981 Shirley St. near UNLV. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards for prize drawings. There is no cost to attend the mixer.
