Henderson Chamber’s Roadmap to Success series continues Aug. 15

HENDERSON, Nev. – As part of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Roadmap to Success workshop series, Michael Mellstead from the Las Vegas Review-Journal will present “Growing Your Business in a Digital World” from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, at the Henderson Business Resource Center’s Seminar Room (in the Wells Fargo Building), 112 S. Water St. in Downtown Henderson.

During the workshop, Mellstead will provide an overview of digital marketing strategies and platforms including websites, digital display strategies, social marketing and advertising, email marketing, and search advertising. The presentation will include best practices and tips for businesses to consider when developing their digital presence.

Mellstead is head of digital sales for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, and has served as head of digital sales in top tier media companies such as Hearst, Advance, and, most recently, USA Today Network. His clients have included the University of Michigan, Metro Ford Dealers, Detroit Sports & Entertainment, Austal Shipbuilding, and the University of Arizona, among others.

The workshop is open to all chamber members and the public. There is no cost for Henderson Chamber members. Registration for non-members is $25. The Roadmap to Success workshop series covers a variety of seminars offered on the first and third Thursday of every month, with the exception of summer, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Henderson Business Resource Center. Topics include health care, business, finance, insurance and marketing, among others.
