Henderson Development Association to host luncheon event Aug. 15

HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Development Association (HDA), the economic development arm of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, will host a luncheon and panel discussion on “Moving Westward – Henderson’s Continuing Expansion,” from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, at the Revere Golf Club, 2600 Hampton Road in Henderson.

The panel discussion will include insights from Brian Kunec, division president for KB Home; Hussain Mahrous, vice president and general manager for M Resort Spa Casino; Doug Roberts, Nevada partner, Panattoni Development; and Greg Korte, president of The Korte Company. Stan Olsen, president of Olsen Strategic Group, will serve as moderator.

The luncheon will spotlight the economic growth currently taking place in West Henderson, and the audience will learn about future development plans that will positively impact the community.

A hub of the southwestern United States, close to major markets and Southern California ports, Henderson has vast open landscape nestled between several major highways. West Henderson has an exceptional economic climate for those interested in starting, relocating or growing their companies. These businesses – many of which are represented on the panel – have found success by taking advantage of the many opportunities Henderson offers.

Cost for the luncheon is $45 per person for chamber members (or $450 for a table of 10) and $70 per person for the general public. The reservation/cancellation deadline is Friday, Aug. 11. There will be a $10 fee for all walk-ins.

Sponsors for the event include: Inspirada, Levi Strauss and Martin-Harris Construction.
