Santa Claus comes to town, kicks off festivities with milk, cookies

St. Nick arrives by train on Nov. 10 at Galleria at Sunset

Santa Claus will arrive by train, the new Sunset Express train at the Galleria at Sunset to be exact, bearing milk, cookies and holiday festivities for good boys and girls 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Galleria at Sunset, 1300 W. Sunset Road in Henderson.

Santa will arrive at the Food Court and eventually make his way to his holiday scene on the Galleria at Sunset’s lower level, where photos with Santa take place.

The event will include face painting, balloon artists and storytime with Santa. Children will also receive a free gift.

After Santa’s arrival, children and parents will have a chance to ride the Sunset Express beginning this Saturday, Nov. 10, through Dec. 24. The Sunset Express will run Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets to ride the train cost $3 each.
