Henderson Chamber to welcome Len Christopher of Republic Services April 14

HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly networking breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, at Fiesta Henderson, 777 W. Lake Mead Parkway at the 215 Beltway. During the breakfast, Len Christopher, general manager of recycling facilities for Republic Services of Southern Nevada and founding partner of Evergreen Recycling, will present “Republic Services – Making Our Desert Green.”

The presentation will focus on the new Southern Nevada Recycle Center, set to be the largest of its kind in North America once constructed. Christopher will discuss how the project, which recently broke ground, will put Nevada on the map as an environmental leader in recycling and how it will impact the community and local environment.

With 15 years of industry experience, Christopher oversees all recycling facility operations and has developed the systems, recycling processes, strategies and capabilities for Evergreen Recycling and Republic Services. Christopher also participates in charitable events and donates his time and resources to organizations such as Olive Crest, Through the Eyes of a Child, ALS Foundation and the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation.
