Many candidates endorsed by Henderson Chamber to attend mixer

Event to take place at Grape Expectations; family of late Grape Expectations owner, Charlie Peters, to host

The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will host a mixer at which many of the candidates the Henderson Chamber has endorsed for the general elections will meet and greet attendees. The mixer will take place 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at Grape Expectations — located at  7360 Eastgate Rd #125 in Henderson.

The endorsed candidates expected to attend include:
Steve Kirk – Candidate – State Senate District 5
Mari Nakashima St Martin – Candidate – State Senate District 9
Cresent Hardy  – Candidate – State Assembly District 19
Melissa Woodbury – Candidate – State Assembly District 23
Robert Irwin – Candidate – State Assembly District 29
Phillip Regeski – Candidate – State Assembly District 41
Allison Stephens – Candidate – University Regent District 4
Becky Harris – Candidate – State Assembly District 21
James Ohrenschall – Candidate – State Assembly District 12 

Food will be provided by Masterpiece Cuisine and wine will be provided by Grape Expectations. Charlie Peters, who owned Grape Expectations and was very involved in the chamber, recently passed away. His family will carry on his dream by continuing to run the business, which allows people to make their own barrel(s) of wine.    For those who did not RSVP in advance, there will be a cost at the door.
