Hosted by Henderson Development Association, panel to feature leading Henderson manufacturers, discuss workforce, logistics, more
HENDERSON, Nev. – The economic development arm of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, the Henderson Development Association, will host a panel focusing on manufacturing, titled “Made in Henderson” beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, in the Estancia ballroom at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway.
The panel will feature some of the leading manufacturers in Henderson, fielding questions on product lines, logistics, workforce and why Henderson? A mixer will follow the discussion.
Panelists Include: Joe Wrona, site director for Mars Chocolate North America; George Racz, founder and head distiller for Las Vegas Distillery; Elizabeth Muse, plant manager for Olin Chlor Alkali; and Maurice Hildebrand, factory director for Unilever.
Sponsored by Burke Construction and Unilever, the event will run until 8:30 p.m.
There is no charge for members of the HDA to attend the event. Cost for Henderson Chamber members and guests of HDA members is $25. Cost for non-chamber members is $45. An additional charge of $10 will be added for walk-ins. The last day to RSVP is Wednesday, Sept. 17. Cancellations are required by the RSVP deadline to receive a refund.
