Municipal candidates to meet with business community during March 13 mixer
HENDERSON, Nev. – Henderson’s Issues Mobilization Political Action Committee (IMPAC) has endorsed candidates for the city of Henderson’s upcoming municipal elections for city council. Those endorsements include: Michelle Romero, Henderson City Council Ward 1; Dan Shaw for City Council Ward 2, and Dan Stewart for City Council Ward 4.
Endorsed candidates will meet with the business community during IMPAC’s “Meet the Candidates” mixer, which will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 13 at Rodizio Grill at Galleria at Sunset, 1300 W. Sunset Road.
Mike PeQueen, managing director and partner of Hightower Las Vegas, will host a Q&A session with candidates during the mixer. The event is open to the public. Suggested contributions are $100 per person, which includes one complimentary cocktail and heavy appetizers during the evening. The city of Henderson municipal elections will take place starting with the primary early voting period March 16-29 to be followed by the primary election April 2. General election early voting period is scheduled for May 25-June 7, which is followed by general voting day June 11.
