Ongoing food drive, Nov. 20 event to collect non-perishable items for Three Square
HENDERSON, Nev. – Hi Scores Bar-Arcade will start off the holiday season with a food drive to benefit Three Square throughout the month of November and charity bartender challenge with ESPN Radio’s Mitch Moss from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20.
Donors can bring non-perishable food items to Hi Score Bar-Arcade, located at 65 S. Stephanie St., just south of the 215 Beltway, during business hours, seven days a week.
The bartender challenge, also held at the bar and restaurant, will feature Moss as he goes head-to-head with Mike Ramirez, a Hi Scores’ bartender, to see who can pour the most pints of Alaskan White Ale. Moss also will host a live remote from the location on ESPN 1100 AM/98.9 FM during the event.
Those who bring food donations to the bartender challenge will receive a free Goose Island craft beer, donated by Nevada Beverage.
“Three Square feeds Southern Nevadans every day, but during the holiday season, the need is especially great,” said Lief Marwede, general manager. “The bartender challenge is a fun event to bring people together, raise awareness and help collect food to feed people right here in the city.”
Offering a lively and colorful atmosphere and free arcade games, Hi Scores Bar-Arcade is fast becoming Henderson’s hot spot for good food, drinks and fun. The Players Club, its next-door neighbor to the west, has a more relaxed lounge atmosphere.
Hi Scores Bar-Arcade and The Players Club are owned and operated by the same company, but each caters to a distinct local clientele. Both locations serve unique bar offerings, hand-crafted cocktails and craft beers.
