Henderson nonprofit resale store returns proceeds to community, celebrates opening of store No. 2 with ribbon cutting

Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation to host event for Lootique

The Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Lootique, a new high-quality resale boutique that returns proceeds to the community, are celebrating the official opening of the store with a ribbon cutting and donation-generation event at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at Lootique, 72 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, Suite 125.

Henderson Chamber of Commerce members are asked to donate at least $20 to be used for The Giving Store gift certificates (The Giving Store is the parent company of Lootique), which will be donated to three nonprofit members for their charities. The goal is to raise $2,500.

Online donations are being accepted through July 30 here, and members also can donate at the chamber’s July 28 networking mixer. Checks, made payable to HCC Foundation, can be mailed or delivered in person to the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, 590 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015.

Lootique is a new resale store that returns proceeds to the community through donations to organizations such as Safe House Nevada, Humanitarian Aid Fund, Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and Heaven Can Wait Animal Society.
