Henderson Libraries to host teen talent show Feb. 22-23

HENDERSON, Nev. – Henderson Libraries will host its 5th Annual Teen Talent Show from 7-8:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 22, and Tuesday, Feb. 23, at the Galleria Library. Local teens are invited to dance, sing and act in the family-friendly event. Auditions for both performances were held earlier in February.

The Galleria Library operates within the Galleria at Sunset – located at the corner of Sunset Road and Stephanie Street in Henderson at 1300 W. Sunset Road.

The 5th Annual Teen Talent Show will feature teens from middle and high schools throughout the valley who will perform a variety of talents. The talent show will be split into two separate performances; high school students will perform on Feb. 22 and middle school students will perform on Feb. 23. All participants were required to audition in order to participate in either of the shows. First, second and third place winners of each talent show will win gift certificates to Galleria at Sunset mall.

Established in 1943 as a single library in Downtown Henderson, Henderson Libraries operates six locations throughout Henderson. Henderson Libraries cooperates with other public libraries in Southern Nevada, the Nevada System of Higher Education, the Clark County School District and all other libraries around the state to provide quality service for Nevada’s residents.
