Henderson Libraries hosts panel, The ABCs of Cyberbullying

Discussion to deepen community understanding of cyberbullying, provide intervention, prevention strategies, offer resources

Henderson Libraries, together with the Anti-Defamation League will host The ABCs of Cyberbullying: Could your Child be the Next Victim? The event, which will take place Wednesday, Nov. 10, is meant to deepen community understanding, provide intervention and prevention strategies and offer resources available to the community.

Dr. Sameer Hinduja, co-director of the Cyberbullying Research Center, and Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto will take part in the panel, which will be moderated by KSNV’s Sue Manteris.

The event will begin with a reception at 5:30 p.m. A panel discussion and keynote will take place at 6:15 p.m., and a Q&A will follow. The panel will take place at the Paseo Verde Library — located at 280 S. Green Valley Parkway.

Established in 1943 as a single library in Downtown Henderson, Henderson Libraries operates six locations throughout Henderson.
