Scott Muelrath to join panel, ‘Getting Your Small Business Unstuck’
HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce’s executive director, Scott Muelrath, will take part in the Las Vegas Local Leaders Forum, a free seminar where a panel will discuss key issues affecting the Las Vegas Valley and which will offer small business owners an opportunity to speak with local business leaders.
Hosted by Dex One and featuring Business Insanity Talk Radio’s Barry Moltz, the half-day event will take place Wednesday, Feb. 29, from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Southwest Event Center in the Hampton Inn Tropicana – located at 4975 Dean Martin Drive, just off W. Tropicana Ave. The seminar, “Getting Your Small Business Unstuck,” will focus on helping businesses adapt and grow in the current economic climate.
Muelrath, who has headed the Henderson Chamber since September, will be one of five panelists offering expert advice. Attendees will be able to learn from his 19-year background as a businessman in the property management and real estate development industry, as well as his deep community involvement. Prior to taking the reins of the Henderson Chamber, he served as general manager of the Galleria at Sunset mall in Henderson.
Also on the panel will be Lu Torres, president and CEO of Nevada Microenterprise Initiative and the Women’s Business Center; Elisabeth Daniels, public information officer for the Department of Business & Industry – Small Business Advocacy; Michelle Kruczynski, director of development at Langdon Flynn Communications; and David Olesczuk, senior manager with Dex One’s Field Strategy department.
