Vince Alberta to discuss ‘Las Vegas: What’s Next?’ at event May 21
HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will host a network breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, at the Wildhorse Golf Course – located at 2100 W. Warm Springs Road in Henderson.
The breakfast event will feature Vince Alberta, vice president of public affairs for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, who will present an update on the local tourism industry and what the success of the industry means for Southern Nevada residents. The discussion also will touch upon the future of the industry, its plans for success, including billions of dollars in investments by the resort companies, the Las Vegas Global Business District and the newest advertising and promotional efforts by the LVCVA.
RSVPs, which are required, must be made by Friday, May 17. The cost is $20 for members and $40 for non-members. There will be an additional $10 fee at the door. Cancellations must be made by the RSVP deadline to receive a refund. Guests can RSVP at http://www.hendersonchamber.com/events/.
Alberta joined the LVCVA in 2005 after nearly 20 years of experience in public relations and 16 years of journalism experience as a reporter and anchor covering news and sports. Along with his responsibility for planning and directing all aspects of the LVCVA’s public affairs policies, objectives and foreign and domestic initiatives, Alberta also oversees the public relations activities for the organization and the photography and videography of the Las Vegas News Bureau. He also is responsible for community and business relations in Southern Nevada and works on government affairs issues.
