Annual event showcases future of business in Henderson, year’s past successes
HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will host its annual State of the Chamber Address from noonto 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, in the Milan Ballroom at the M Resort, 12300 Las Vegas Blvd. South, in Henderson.
Sponsored by Cox Communications, the event will showcase the Henderson Chamber’s highlights and achievements during the past year, share the vision for the future and recognize pending and underway developments.
D.J. Allen, chair of the Henderson Chamber board of directors, will serve as the keynote speaker. He will discuss the ROI businesses get in exchange for chamber membership and how each member can take advantage of the momentum and growth that is currently happening
in the HCC and in the entire Henderson community. He will also discuss how being a part of the chamber is being a part of something bigger, as all members work as a team to improve Henderson’s economy.
Additionally, the Henderson Chamber’s newly elected board members will be introduced, and the chamber board of directors, Henderson Chamber Foundation board members and Henderson Development Association trustees will be sworn in.
The Henderson Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit, professional organization committed to promoting and supporting member businesses. The event gives attendees the opportunity to network with chamber members, board members, business owners, politicians and community leaders.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and all chamber members and the public are invited to attend. Cost for the event is $55 per person for members or $75 per person for non-members. Tables of eight may be purchased by adding seven guests to a registration. Henderson Chamber members may use the member rate for their guests if they are purchasing a table. Those who do not have the names of their guests yet can put “TBD.” Attendees are required to check in at the door, so guest names must be provided before the event takes place.
Reservations are required and are due by Wednesday, Aug. 27. Registrations can be made online at hendersonchamber.com.
