Chamber leadership to discuss issues important to Henderson businesses
HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will host its annual State of the Chamber Address Friday, Aug. 3, at noon in the Milan Grand Ballroom at the M Resort Spa Casino – located at 12300 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
Steve Schorr will serve as master of ceremonies. Scott Muelrath, executive director and CEO of the Henderson Chamber, will give the address. Muelrath will discuss issues important to Henderson businesses, including the state of business in Henderson and how the Henderson Chamber of Commerce represents its member businesses within the community. Rick Smith, Chairman of the Board, will present the newly formed Emeritus Board for the HCC and discuss its members and their leadership in the community.
The State of the Chamber Address coincides with the near end of the chamber’s first year with Muelrath at the helm.
“At the Henderson Chamber, it’s our goal to do everything possible to support our member businesses,” Muelrath said. “This event was established as an annual networking opportunity that will also be useful and informative.”
HCC Members can network with board members and trustees from the Henderson Chamber of Commerce as well as the Henderson Development Association and the Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Cox Communications will serve as the sponsor for the event.
