Speaker to discuss ‘Energy Saving Programs for Businesses’

HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly network breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, in the Cancun Room at Fiesta Henderson, 777 W. Lake Mead Parkway.

Two experienced energy professionals, Adam Grant, NV Energy project manager, and Jon Trabert, senior operations manager for the NV Energy Sure Bet Commercial Energy Efficiency Incentive program in Nevada, will serve as speakers at the breakfast. They will discuss “Energy Saving Programs for Businesses.”

Together they will present money saving offers and energy saving programs that are available to small- and medium-sized commercial businesses. Those attending the breakfast will hear about direct install incentive programs and services offered through NV Energy. These money-saving programs and services target improvements to lighting systems, air conditioning equipment and other energy consuming equipment and the use of energy saving controls.

RSVPs, which are required, must be made by Friday, July 12. The cost is $20 for members and $40 for non-members. There will be an additional $10 fee for those who do not RSVP ahead of time.
