Rebecca Fay will discuss Leadership Henderson’s impact on the city on May 13

HENDERSON, Nev. – Rebecca Fay, director for the Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation, will present “Leadership Henderson’s Impact on Our Community” at the Henderson Chamber of Commerce’s network breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, in the Cancun Room at Fiesta Henderson, 777 W. Lake Mead Parkway in Henderson.

During the breakfast, Fay will illustrate the benefit Leadership Henderson brings to the community. Designed as a program of exploration and examination, it examines issues, asks critical questions and strives to provide answers that do not conform to the status quo. The eight-month course is devoted to educating and empowering civic-minded professionals with a goal of building and maintaining a strong network of effective community leaders. The program includes more than 30 hours of professional leadership development by Elements Consulting and includes presentations by community leaders and experts, simulations and hands-on experience.

In addition to her duties with the Henderson Chamber Foundation and Leadership Henderson, Fay also runs the Henderson Business Resource Center, a business incubator program, and heads everything from fundraising to program development. A Leadership Henderson graduate (2007), Fay has been a resident of the Las Vegas Valley for more than 30 years, graduating from Chaparral High School and attending the College of Southern Nevada and UNLV. She is a member of Friends of Libraries and a member of the Clark County Museum Guild.

Admission for the event costs $20 for chamber members and $40 for non-members. An additional $10 will be added for walk-ins who miss the Friday, May 9, deadline for registration. Cancellations are required for a full refund, and reservations can be made online at hendersonchamber.com.
