Roadmap to Success workshop discusses estate planning for businesses March 24
HENDERSON, Nev. – The next topic to be featured in the Roadmap to Success Series – hosted by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce and the Henderson Business Resource Center – will be “Estate Planning: What Happens to Your Business if Something Happens to You?”
Featuring Brooke Borg, attorney and owner of Borg Law Group, the workshop will take place from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 24, at the Henderson Business Resource Center – located at 112 Water St. near West Pacific Avenue in downtown Henderson.
Free to Henderson Chamber members, the Roadmap to Success Series began in September and continues through May. The series includes 23 workshops covering topics including finance, legal, marketing, and operations and sales.
With nearly a decade of estate planning and business law experience, Borg knows how to hone in on what support entrepreneurs need most. In 2010, she opened her law firm, which consults in the areas of real estate, corporate, estate planning and probate. Borg earned her law degree from UNLV’s Boyd School of Law and belongs to the Nevada State Bar Association, the Clark County Bar Association and the Probate and Trust Section of the Nevada State Bar.
The workshop focuses on estate planning for business owners, business succession planning and estate planning.
All chamber members and the public are invited to attend. There is no cost for Henderson Chamber members. Cost for non-members is $25. Breakfast is sponsored by Emerald Island Casino.
