Henderson Chamber partners with Workforce Connections to host three-part Grassroots Business Forum series

First workshop in the series takes place Oct. 4

HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Workforce Connections to host a Grassroots Business Forum. The three-part series will cover tapping into local resources, establishing strong roots in the community, and growing a healthy and sustainable business.

The first workshop in the series will take place from 8:30-10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at the Henderson Convention Center – located in Downtown Henderson at 200 S. Water St. Jamie Naughton from Zappos will discuss “Discovering Happiness” during the workshop.  A panel discussion on doing business in Henderson will also be included in the workshop; the panel will include City of Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen; Henderson Chamber Chairperson Rick Smith; Water Street District Business Association Chairperson Tim Brooks; and the Henderson Chamber’s new executive director, Scott Muelrath.

Participation is free, but RSVP is required and can be made by calling the chamber at 702-565-8951.
