Ribbon cutting ceremony, food, libations, tour of new digs part of event April 23
HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce wrapped up 2017 in a new location, 400 N. Green Valley Parkway, second floor, inside the Nevada State Bank building in Henderson. Now that spring has sprung, it’s celebrating with an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 23. The event will be complete with food, beverages, tours of the new office and a ribbon cutting ceremony at 6 p.m.
With more than 1,300 members, 40 percent outside Henderson city limits, the Henderson Chamber of Commerce has increased 10 percent each year in the last five years. As it grows and changes, a new home was in order as the chamber had been in its former location for 30 years.
“Henderson doesn’t look the same as it did 30 years ago, and what once was centrally located is not any longer. The new location makes it easier for businesses to find us and for our employees to get out and see them,” said Scott Muelrath, president and CEO of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce. “The new location – donated graciously by Nevada State Bank – also makes us more accessible to the rest of the Las Vegas Valley.”
The Henderson Chamber of Commerce (@HCC_Nevada) is a nonprofit, professional organization committed to promoting and supporting member businesses.
