Henderson Chamber names new executive board members

New members took office July 1, sworn in during Chamber Address in September

HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce has named the members of its 2017-18 board of directors. The board took office July 1 and will be sworn it at the annual State of the Chamber Address in September.

In reflection of the growth the Henderson Chamber membership has experienced over the last several years, the board of directors has grown as well. Additionally, the diversity of the board continues to be reflective of the various industries the chamber represents, and the number of women serving on the board has increased.

The board of directors is made up of two parts: the executive committee and the board members. The incoming executive committee include Robert Anderson, Snell & Wilmer (chair); Dr. John Hawk, Nevada State High School (treasurer); Craig Kirkland, Nevada State Bank (at large member); Teressa Conley, St. Rose Dominican Hospitals (chair elect); Stan Olsen, Olsen Strategic Group (at large member); John Ramous, Harsch Investment Properties (at large member) and Scott Muelrath, Henderson Chamber of Commerce (president/CEO/secretary).

The following were named to the executive board: Dave Beason, owner of The Muffler Shop; Sarah Brown, franchise consultant with FranNet of Las Vegas; Mary Beth Harleb, CEO of PRISM Management Group LLC; and Cody Winterton, senior vice president of Raintree Investment Corporation and an exclusive agent of Paulson and Co. Inc.

On the executive board, the aforementioned will join: Shelley Berkley, CEO and senior provost of Touro University Western Division; Dr. Renee Coffman, Roseman University of Health Sciences; Aviva Gordon, Esq., Gordon Law; Bryan Lindsey, Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa; Henderson Mayor Debra March; Dr. Carolyn Matzinger, Matzinger Institute of Healing; Trish Nash, Trish Nash Signature Gallery of Homes; Chet Opheikens, R&O Construction; Bart Patterson, president of Nevada State College; Lester Romero, Wells Fargo Bank; Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak; and Jady West, Cox Business.
