Henderson Chamber names Bokelmann sales associate

Chamber’s sales department continues to grow, increase organization’s membership

Bill BokelmannHENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce has named Bill Bokelmann sales associate. In his new position, Bokelmann is responsible for generating sales by soliciting potential members, communicating with existing members and promoting the chamber through activities and events.

Bokelmann has lived in Southern Nevada mostly since 1963. Prior to co-founding Maxx Promotions in 2008, he worked at Loomis Armored Transport U.S. in Las Vegas, where he managed the operations of their second largest branch in the United States. He also worked for many years in marketing and operations management positions at Mobil Oil Corporation and at Jack in the Box.

Additionally, Bokelmann, who has served as chairman of the chamber’s Ambassador Committee since December 2012, was named Ambassador of the Year during the chamber’s inaugural Business on the RISE ceremony, held Nov. 21. He is also a Leadership Henderson graduate (Class of 2013).

Bokelmann graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and obtained his MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2000. He spent three years in the United States Army as a field artillery officer following graduation from UNR.
