New members take office July 1, sworn in during September Chamber Address

HENDERSON, Nev.The Henderson Chamber of Commerce has named the members of its 2019-20 board of directors. The board took office July 1 and will be sworn it at the annual State of the Chamber Address in September.

In reflection of the growth the Henderson Chamber membership has experienced over the last several years, the board of directors has grown as well. Additionally, the diversity of the board continues to be reflective of the various industries the chamber represents, and the number of women serving on the board has increased.

The board of directors is made up of two parts: the executive committee and the board members. The 2019-2020 executive committee include John Ramous, senior vice president, Harsch Investment Properties, chair; Trish Nash, owner and broker of The Trish Nash Team – Signature Gallery of Homes, vice chair; Craig Kirkland, executive vice president/retail banking officer, Nevada State Bank, treasurer; John Hawk, chief operations officer, Nevada State High School, at-large member; Aviva Gordon, Gordon Law, at-large member; Lester Romero, vice president, Wells Fargo Bank, at-large member; and Scott Muelrath, president and CEO, Henderson Chamber of Commerce, president/CEO/secretary.

The board of directors includes Chet Opheikens, vice president – business development, R&O Construction; Dave Beason, owner, The Muffler Shop; Rosie Bone, senior vice president – community relations and public affairs, Raiders; Renee Coffman, president and co-founder, Roseman University of Health Sciences; Robby Findlay, director of operations, Findlay Automotive Group; Michelle Follette, vice president – customer operations, NV Energy; Peter Guzman, president and CEO, Las Vegas Latin Chamber of Commerce; Mary Beth Hartleb, CEO, PRISM Global Management Group LLC; Windom Kimsey, president/CEO, Tate Snyder Kimsey; Brian Kunec, regional general manger, KB Home; Dr. Carolyn Matzinger, president/CEO, Matzinger Institute of Healing; Mike PeQueen, managing partner and director, HighTower Las Vegas; Vickie Shields, provost and executive vice president, Nevada State College; Jady West, director of strategic sales, Cox Business; John Wightman, CPR, CGMA, managing partner, Rich Wightman and Company CPAs; and Cody Winterton, president, Lake Las Vegas.

The Henderson Chamber of Commerce Foundation also experienced transition at the beginning of the fiscal year and welcomed Micah Phillips, executive vice president and marketing director at Nevada State Bank, as chair and DeAndre Esteen, assistant vice president of community relations with Barclays, as vice-chair.
