Networking breakfast to feature Hutchison of Barclaycard US Henderson July 14

HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will host “Preventing Fraud: What That Chip Means to You,” presented by Todd Hutchison of Barclaycard US Henderson, during its monthly networking breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, at Sunset Station, 1301 W. Sunset Road in Henderson.

Hutchison leads Barclaycard’s operations team in Henderson focused on preserving customers’ identities and protecting banks from fraudulent activities on accounts. His team does this by reviewing accounts that demonstrate potentially suspicious activity from several transactional alerts.

Hutchison joined Barclaycard US in 2008 in the Maine office and moved to Henderson in October 2014. His more than six years of financial services experience within the fraud business have taken him from coast to coast. Hutchison earned a bachelor’s degree in art and cross cultural studies from McDaniel College in Maryland.

The breakfast is sponsored by CruiseOne.

Cost for the event is $25 for members and $45 for non-members. There will be an additional $10 charge for walk-ins. The last day to RSVP is Friday, July 10. Cancellations are required by the RSVP deadline to receive a refund. RSVP online at hendersonchamber.com.
