One-minute gifting allows givers to gift electronically
HENDERSON, Nev. – What do you give someone who really does have it all? From stylish dads to your favorite teenage niece who dreamed of becoming a rock star last year and now wants to become an athlete instead – the Galleria at Sunset has the perfect answer to your holiday shopping list stumpers: a mall gift card.
This year, the Galleria took the ease of shopping one step further (procrastinators, listen up) by implementing One Minute Gifting, the new Galleria at Sunset’s electronic gift card.
The e-gift cards can be purchased electronically from virtually anywhere in the world, and recipients can use them at any Galleria at Sunset’s retailer, restaurant or service provider that accepts MasterCard. A limited-time holiday special allows purchasers to send e-gift cards without a service fee.
“One Minute Gifting is a great way to remember family and friends, or perhaps a favorite teacher or coach,” said Heather Valera, marketing director at Galleria at Sunset. “With this year’s shorter holiday shopping season, we expect that time-pressed consumers will particularly enjoy the convenience of sending a gift card to a recipient in just a minute, and even at the very last minute.”
How it works:
- The purchaser visits the Galleria at Sunset website, www.galleriaatsunset.com, chooses “email digital card” and enters payment information and a personalized message.
- Seconds later, the recipient receives a personalized email and optional text notification that includes a unique alphanumeric code. The recipient then takes the text message or a copy of the email to the Guest Services center at Galleria at Sunset.
- Guest Services validates the code and gives the recipient a plastic gift card.
“This is also a convenient way for someone who lives across the country to send a gift to family or friends right here in Southern Nevada. With One Minute Gifting, they know their gift will get there immediately and the recipient can enjoy a shopping trip to the Galleria at Sunset.”
