Mall adds new general manager, marketing director, retailers and restaurants

HENDERSON, Nev. – This year has brought many changes to the Galleria at Sunset.

In March, Henderson’s mall welcomed a new general manager, Kevin Budny. Budny brings with him more than 19 years of experience in multiple aspects of commercial real estate management, accounting and facility operations.

Specializing in tenant retention, problem-solving and negotiation, Budny’s extensive background includes: daily operational oversight, strategic future planning, lease and contract negotiation, lease administration, asset preservation and evolving development, not only capital programs, but human capital development as well.

“New leadership brings new energy and fresh ideas,” Budny said. “The Galleria only recently underwent an extensive expansion, preceded by a renovation of the 1 million-square-foot center. We also welcomed three new restaurants, Bravo! Cucina Italiana, Larsen’s Grill and Gen Korean BBQ House, with World of Beer still to come this summer. It’s an exciting time for Galleria.”

In May, another new face arrived on the scene: Jamie Lamphere, who serves as the mall’s marketing director. In her position, she will manage all social media and online assets, marketing and brand development, as well as special events and guest services for the shopping center. Prior to her promotion, Lamphere served as the marketing coordinator for the open-air shopping center, Town Square Las Vegas, where she was responsible for assisting with the development, marketing and execution of more than 70 calendar events each year.
