Celebrate love at Presidio; love stinks at Al’s Garage
HENDERSON, Nev. – The District Tavern Group understands that not everyone wants to celebrate Valentine’s Day celebrating love. That’s why the group has dedicated its newest restaurant, Presidio, to serving Valentine’s Day’s happiest couples with its “Celebrate Love” theme, while Al’s Garage’s theme for the day is “Love Stinks.”
Presidio’s “Celebrate Love” Valentine’s Day special will include a three-course meal and a glass of champagne for $39 per person (not including tax and gratuity). Reservations are required and can be made by calling 702-320-8100.
Those who prefer the “Love Stinks” atmosphere can enjoy a shot and a beer for $8 as well as $2 Jell-O shots at Al’s Garage.
Specials at both locations will last from noon to midnight on Valentine’s Day.
In 2005, Las Vegas native Pete Kaufman, while still working at the Bellagio as a senior executive of casino marketing, opened Balboa Pizza with childhood friends Frank Toti, Jr. and Jeff and Jonathan Fine. The quartet built on their initial investment with Al’s Garage and eventually established District Tavern Group to serve as the restaurants’ umbrella organization. In 2010 District Tavern Group opened Presidio. District Tavern Group’s three locations within The District all offer 24-hour food, fun, drinks and fair gaming and cater to local players and industry workers.
