Chamber network breakfast to cover ‘College and Workforce Ready Graduates! A Solution for Saving Time and Money’

Drs. Hawk of Nevada State High School to present for Henderson Chamber

HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly networking breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Wildhorse Golf Club, 2100 W. Warm Springs Road.

During the breakfast, Drs. John and Wendi Hawk, founders and operators of Nevada State High School, will present “College and Workforce Ready Graduates! A Solution for Saving Time and Money.”

The Hawks will discuss how Nevada State High School is preparing high school students for college and the workforce through a mission-focused school that saves time and money. Participants will have the opportunity to follow along as Nevada State High School offers solutions to the following: college debt crisis; high school graduation rate; college remediation rate; decreased state revenue; and demands for a skilled workforce.

The breakfast is sponsored by Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas. The last day to RSVP is Friday, Feb. 6. Cancellations are required by the RSVP deadline to receive a refund. RSVP online at hendersonchamber.com. Cost for the breakfast is $25 for members and $45 for non-members. An additional $10 will be charged for walk-ins.
