Sheet Metal Local 17’s Joint Apprenticeship Training Center in Boston was featured on the national CBS Evening News March 18. The segment, “Apprenticeships Better Than College for Some,” focused on how trades such as the sheet metal industry can be a viable alternative to attending college.

More than 15,000 apprentices are registered at training facilities in the United States and Canada.
