Networking event to focus on the economic outlook for Southern Nevada
HENDERSON, Nev. – The Henderson Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly networking breakfast, “End of Year Economic Update,” presented by Dr. Stephen Miller, the director of the UNLV Center of Business and Economic Research (CBER), from 7 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Sunset Station, 1301 W. Sunset Road in Henderson.
During the presentation, Miller will share the results from the recent CBER Business Survey, which shows that local business leaders are highly optimistic regarding the Southern Nevada economic outlook for the remainder of 2018. He will discuss potential economic outcomes in Clark County with attendees.
Miller is a professor of economics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His research interests span monetary; macroeconomic and international finance theory and policy; economic growth empirics; financial institutions; and real estate lending.
