Robert Anderson, Steve Beatty to present during Roadmap to Success Dec. 5
HENDERSON, Nev. – Robert Anderson, attorney and partner with Snell and Wilmer, and Steve Beatty, financial advisor for Financial Solutions for Business, will present “Escaping the Owner’s Trap” during the Roadmap to Success workshop series from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Henderson Business Resource Center, 112 S. Water St. in downtown Henderson.
During the workshop, Anderson and Beatty will discuss success stories and traps to avoid as well as how business owners can test the reliability of their business and increase value and sellability.
Anderson, who also is the first vice chair for the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, has more than three decades of experience advising private and public companies on federal income tax and merger and acquisition matters as well as tax and operational issues of limited liability companies.
Beatty has worked in the financial services industry since 1989 and has worked primarily with owners of closely held businesses since 1994. Beatty has qualified for Top of the Table, a distinction that .2 percent of financial advisors worldwide, since 2004. Beatty specializes in working with business owners in the areas of strategic tax, succession, business and estate planning.
The event is open to the public, including Henderson Chamber of Commerce members and non-members. The event is free for Henderson Chamber members, $25 for non-members. The Roadmap to Success Workshop Series covers all aspects of business critical for business owners to understand and properly execute to stay afloat, especially when times are tough. The series began in September and continues through May. It is comprised of 16 workshops covering topics including finance, human resources, law, marketing, and operations, sales and technology.
The workshop series is sponsored by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce, the city of Henderson, Cox Communications and Prism Global Management Group LLC.
