Auto Buy Smart’s classic car showroom hosts more than 100 vehicles from the iconic to the rare and one-of-a-kind from the last century.
At age 32, Mark Bucciarelli is one of the youngest guys in his business, one usually reserved for Baby Boomers: buying and selling classic cars. As the managing director of classic cars at Auto Buy Smart in the northwest valley, Bucciarelli has bought and sold more than 500 cars since he began his career at age 23.
In addition to collectors from all over the world and on every continent, Bucciarelli has brokered deals for comedian and car aficionado Jay Leno, Wayne Carini (F40 Motorsports and expert restorer) and Chip Foose (host of Velocity Channel’s “Overhaulin’”), just to name a few.
A Chicago native, he was brought to Las Vegas two years ago to manage Auto Buy Smart’s classic car showroom, which hosts more than 100 vehicles from the iconic to the rare and one-of-a-kind from the last century. Every vehicle purchased for sale at Auto Buy Smart is carefully researched down to the documentation, paint depth, bondo and identification numbers on major components.
“Each car in there has a story,” Bucciarelli said. “Having it is one thing, but proving it is another. They have to be what we say they are.”
In addition to developing the classic car showroom, Bucciarelli is working to bring the Las Vegas classic car community together during Thursday evening car shows beginning in August. The shows will invite anyone with a classic or an exotic car – including individuals, car clubs and organizations – to display their vehicles on the large parking lot near the classic car showroom at Auto Buy Smart. The area, designated specifically for events such as these, will allow people to network, share information and view some beautiful machinery.
It is likely Bucciarelli also will show off his 1967 Shelby GT500 KR Super Snake as well.
