Bryant-Denny Stadium pet bed now available, gets pets in the game

Stadium Cribs offers over 70 NCAA approved stadium/arena-lookalike beds, more to come

SILVERLAKE, Kan. – Stadium Cribs, a Kansas-based business that designs and sells comfy pet beds made to look like actual football and basketball stadiums around the country, has created a Bryant-Denny Stadium-inspired bed that will allow the pets of University of Alabama to show their team spirit as well.

Stadium Cribs offers pet beds modeled after the football stadiums and basketball arenas of the top NCAA teams in the country. The idea is to unite passions in one product, allowing fans to “put their pets in the game,” said Kevin Kruger, co-founder of Stadium Cribs, former college and professional basketball player.

“People love their pets and they love their favorite teams, especially their favorite college football and basketball teams,” said Lyle Richardson, co-founder of Stadium Cribs. “These pet beds are a fun way for fans to combine their passions.”

StadiumCribs.com currently offers pet beds in three sizes (prices range from $59.99 to $79.99), for 28 stadiums and arenas from across the nation. The collection is expected to grow to more than 100 teams this year. Each bed design is officially licensed by the respective schools.

The beds feature unique characteristics of each stadium and arena, according to Kruger.

“Details are so important to sports fans,” he said. “We decided if we were going to do this, we were going to do it right. We didn’t want just one stadium look and change out the logo. We wanted the stadiums and arenas to represent the actual facilities, to each have a special feel. These buildings are so important to fans and we realize that.”

From coast-to-coast, sports fans now have a new way to show their loyalty to their favorite NCAA teams. And, according to Richardson, because of the popularity of the concept, StadiumCribs.com is already looking to expand into professional leagues.

The pet beds are currently available for retail sale at StadiumCribs.com and selected retailers. A complete list of available stadiums/arenas as well as upcoming releases, can also be found on the website.
